What is point8estate?

point8estate is a family run agency that believes commission should not be the major expense it is and that selling your home does not need to be complicated! By removing the massive overheads of a traditional agency we are able to provide a quality, streamlined service at a reasonable cost to you.

While commission rates have remained the same for years in Australia the massive increase in housing prices means that to an average family or couple commission is now almost unaffordable, especially when coupled with stamp duty! There is now an alternative with no reduction in service, experience or inclusions.

We have sold well over 8 million dollars worth of property in the ACT and consistently achieve higher than expected prices and save our clients thousands in the process. So if you will let us indulge for a moment here are just some of the things our clients are saying about us:

"Before we decided to use Karene as our agent we had 2 of the major real estate companies come through our house for a valuation and quotation. The first real estate came back with $360k - $380k with $15k commission fee. Best case scenario with them was $365k in our account.
