About this Site

point8estate is built using a number of FOSS projects and tools

The site itself is developed on a machine running Ubuntu GNU/Linux.

Our site is hosted on Linux servers at Jumba a great local Canberra Hosting company.

We use a somewhat modified and skinned version of pmwiki by Patrick Michaud for the main site layout. The AdvancedTableDirectives, MapsAPI, mini and oct-filltemplate cookbook recipies are used for extended functionality.

Lightbox by Lokesh Dhakar is used to display images.

Our image loading gif comes from ajaxload.info.

The main 2 column layout is inspired by Matthew Taylors liquid layouts.
